Hello, my name is...

Hey everybody, my name is Sophie Frederiksen, and this is my newly created blog. I'm currently 16 years old, and I'm from a small, yet great country that goes by the name of Denmark.
I am currently a foreign exchange student in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States of America. I'm living with a Mormon host family, which has been a wee bit of a challenge to adapt to, and I'm attending a local high school, which has been both fantastic and less fantastic so far. I'm taking this exchange day by day, trying to arrange my life for when I go back to Denmark, manage my homesickness and still be social and positive despite my obviously incompetent organization. Going on exchange for a year is quite the challenge, and even more so than I thought, but I know I will have changed for the better after this year away from home.

This blog will mostly be for when get back from my exchange and continue my life as a true, Danish teenager. But I might post every now and then about my wishes for my post-exchange life, before I go back home. It is hard to imagine right now, that there will be something after exchange, because this truly seems like my everyday-life now. My old life back in Denmark seems so far away right now, but I know that I will go back and continue where I left off, just with a lot of extra experience.
